We’re seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. As a DevOps Engineer at Tenbyte, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our high-performance infrastructure.
Your Impact:
- Lead the design, implementation, automation, and operation of highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure
- Drive DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle, enabling rapid and reliable application delivery.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to architect and operate microservices-based platforms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and observability systems to improve deployment efficiency and platform reliability.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools, automation frameworks, and platform services using Golang.
- Design and optimize networking, DNS, routing, and traffic management strategies for high-performance distributed systems.
- Ensure infrastructure and applications meet reliability, security, performance, and scalability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure across public and hybrid cloud environments.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms for containerized microservices.
- Develop automation tools and platform components using Golang and scripting languages.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Configure and maintain networking services including DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers, routing policies, VPNs, and service discovery.
- Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for production environments.
- Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and security using modern observability tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application architecture, deployment strategies, and operational excellence.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management best practices.
- Maintain platform security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Participate in architecture reviews, capacity planning, and technology selection decisions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong software development background with hands-on experience in Golang.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development practices.
- Strong experience designing and operating microservices-based applications.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
- Strong experience with Docker, container networking, and container lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar technologies.
- Strong Linux/Unix system administration and performance tuning experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack.
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, Load Balancing, NAT, VPN, BGP, Routing, Firewalls, and Network Security.
- Knowledge of CDN, edge networking, traffic routing, and content delivery architectures.
- Experience with API gateways, reverse proxies, ingress controllers, and traffic management solutions.
- Strong understanding of service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Envoy.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, and AlertManager.
- Proficiency with Git workflows and modern source control practices.
- Experience managing PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or other production-grade databases.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
