We’re seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. As a DevOps Engineer at Tenbyte, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our high-performance infrastructure.
Your Impact:
- Own the design, implementation, and delivery of application infrastructure
- Develop and operate applications for Kubernetes Clusters and High Availability systems
- Collaborate closely with our engineering team to implement High Availability, Increase Reliability, and scale our infrastructure
- Contribute to our diverse tech stack, including Golang, React, PHP, PostgreSQL, Redis, JWT-based authentication systems, and related modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy updates, fixes, and provide technical support
- Build tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Design and implement procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure development follows established processes
- Plan and participate in project management decisions
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering role
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and its ecosystem (Helm, Dashboard, Kompose, Prometheus, Envoy, Weave)
- Strong experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Docker Compose
- Solid understanding of microservice architecture and deployments
- Expertise in Linux/Unix administration with OS and hardware-level optimizations
- Experience with automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt)
- Strong knowledge of code repository systems (Github, Bitbucket, Git workflows)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Golang, Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP)
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies
- Experience handling large-scale databases
- Skill in monitoring EFK, Kubernetes health, and maintaining production-grade SLAs
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other public clouds
- Knowledge of API Management, API Proxies, and API routing
- Understanding of multi-cloud / hybrid cloud environments
- Expertise in platform monitoring and incident management tools
- Knowledge of networking concepts: VPC, TCP/UDP, SSL, HTTP, NAT
- Must have knowledge of WordPress (deployment, hosting, performance, and security)
