About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Technical Writer who can create clear and accurate documentation for our cloud infrastructure products. While the primary responsibility is technical writing, a basic understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure components, and DevOps concepts will greatly support this role.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to produce documentation, blog articles, tutorials, and internal resources that reflect our commitment to clarity, quality, and developer-first thinking. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in technical content creation within a fast-paced tech environment.
What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain product documentation, user guides, setup instructions, FAQs, and internal knowledge-base articles.
- Document cloud infrastructure features such as compute, storage, networking, and automation workflows.
- Work closely with engineering teams to gather technical information and translate it into clear, easy-to-understand content.
- Prepare release notes and update documentation for new product features.
- Improve existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Organize technical content in a structured and easy-to-navigate format.
- Apply SEO best practices to improve content visibility and performance
- Support the content team in research and content planning activities
- Use tools like Markdown, Git, Notion, or Docusaurus to manage content
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Basic understanding of:
Cloud infrastructure concepts (servers, networking, storage, virtualization)
DevOps fundamentals (CI/CD, automation, version control, deployment processes) - Ability to read and understand technical materials and convert them into simplified documentation.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content structure and optimization
- Familiarity with tools such as Markdown, Confluence, Notion, or similar documentation platforms.
- Good research skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Git/GitHub for documentation workflows.
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking basics (DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS).
- Ability to create technical diagrams using tools like Draw.io, Lucidchart, or Figma.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 1–2 years of experience in technical writing or cloud/DevOps-related work.
